Unfortunately, by the time that I decided to put my projects online, I had thrown out all but three of my model building projects. One of them is in the process of being converted into something even cooler. It was a vacume forming project. I built a sporty looking spaceship. Here are the other two though.
	For this project we were required to build a birdhouse from a single six foot 2x4. We were not allowed to build the standard birdhouse that has a pitched roof, a hole, and a peg. I decided to try for a tropical grass hut type of birdhouse. The center collumn is a holder for bird seed. if you put seed in the collumn, it will spill out over the flat area. It will slowly empty as the seeds are moved away from the center by the birds eating the seed. The top of the collumn is removable in order to refill.
	This project showed us how to work with rigid polyurethane foam. We were required to build a parking meter of pretty much any shape, though it still had to be apparent to a common user how it functioned.
